Our admin team will confirm your details, book your appointment and can take any queries from you, they will also greet you when you arrive for your appointment.
Our wellbeing navigators will be your first contact, providing a safe space for you to share some information about what has brought you to the service. They are therapists experienced at working with distress and are able to support you to make decisions about what might be most helpful for you. They will share some options for a treatment package and will agree how this can best be taken forward for you.
Our therapists are all accredited, skilled and experienced in delivering psychological therapies to people experiencing trauma, loss and a range of other difficulties. They will conduct a thorough clinical assessment to help you make sense of your current feelings in response to the events you have experienced. They will support you to develop skills to manage the impact of these events and move towards goals that will make a difference for you in your daily life.
All clinicians receive regular clinical supervision and engage in continual professional development to ensure they are supported in delivering optimal evidence based care.
We also have links with community organisations, local trauma sensitive yoga practitioners, clinical psychologists and a range of other resource for a package of care that is right for you.
Our base is at Anderson House on Clinton Avenue just off Hucknall Road. This is well served by public transport or is easily accessible by road from Nottingham and surrounding areas. We can see you at home if you are unable to travel to base, or alternatively by telephone or video sessions.
